This state-of-the-art equipment, featuring a 2000-meter cable, is specifically designed to inspect large-diameter pipes of up to 4 meters from 1-2km. It employs a high-definition 2.1-megapixel camera with capabilities for panning, rotating, and zooming, combined with precise laser measurement to ensure thorough and accurate assessments. We hope this will streamline operations with clients, ranging across Kent, Essex, Sussex, and the South-East of London, including Bexley, Greenwich and Bromley , attending to callouts from broadband providers, public and national highways, local councils, as well as commercial and domestic clients.

This is just one part of the new equipment we have employed to maximise efficiency, along with additions to our fleet of tankers with capacities ranging across 7.5, 18, and 32 tonnes. This advanced rigid vacuum tanker is engineered for the efficient suction and transport of non-hazardous sewer, storm water, and liquid waste, empowering the water drainage experts to deliver all of their services in-house to clients in Kent, Essex, East Sussex, and South-East London.

The CAPVAC 3200 features a 20,000-litre tank available in carbon or stainless steel, tailored for the safe handling of various waste types, including hazardous materials under ADR and ATEX directives. This customisation ensures operational flexibility across diverse environments – ideal for the drainage firm, who are often taken to a variety of sites in urban and rural areas. Equipped with a choice of vacuum pumps—rotary vane, liquid ring, or rotary lobe—this tanker is designed for optimal performance in any setting.

Grey-Water Drainage now features a diverse fleet of tankers with capacities ranging across 7.5, 18, and 32 tonnes. This variety allows the company to tailor its resources effectively, deploying larger vehicles for major projects and smaller ones for restricted access areas or less voluminous waste, optimising service efficiency and reducing the need for multiple trips.

This move significantly enhances the ability of Grey-Water Drainage to offer comprehensive in-house services, thereby reducing dependency on external contractors and boosting operational efficiency across both commercial and residential projects in their service areas of Kent, Essex, Sussex, and South-East London.

The 7.5t Jetvac Combination Unit features a dual compartment water tank with a 3,000-litre capacity, segmented into 2,000 litres for waste and 1,000 litres for clean water. Equipped with a robust vacuum pump, this unit is excellently poised for efficiently tackling heavily polluted pipes, grease traps, septic tanks , water wells, and even managing flooded basements for our commercial and residential clients.

Grey-Water Drainage now boasts a fleet of tankers, including vehicles with capacities of 7.5, 18, and 32 tonnes. This means we can accurately plan for the sites we visit, utilising the larger capacity vehicles for bigger drain clearance projects, and the smaller capacity vehicles for accessing narrow paths and dealing with lower volumes of wastewater, preventing repeat trips.

This strategic acquisition marks a pivotal moment for our company, as it now allows us to deliver comprehensive in-house services that were previously outsourced, boosting our commitment to innovation and efficiency.

More Speed, More Efficiency

One of the standout features of the Whale is its ability to swiftly empty and clean roadside gullies. Equipped with high-pressure jetting capabilities, the vehicle excels in clearing gully connections and domestic drains. With its up-rated jetting system and large, hydraulically-powered hose, the machine is ideal for tackling mainline sewers and other large-scale drainage requirements.

This majorly enhances the speed and efficiency of Grey-Water Drainage’s service offerings for our commercial and residential clients, ending the need for large tanker outsourcing, which often didn't have the the same power. With this fleet update, and along with other investments such as a new drain Camera Crawler System, the company moves to control all aspects of our service provision in-house.

A Fleet for Any Job

Grey-Water Drainage now operates an expanded fleet of tankers, with capacities ranging across 7.5, 18, and 32 tonnes. This diversification enables precise planning for various project sizes—utilising larger vehicles for substantial projects and smaller ones for tight spaces or lesser wastewater volumes, effectively reducing the need for multiple trips.

Managing Director, Chris Guilfoyle said of the investment: “With the Whale MVC as a permanent fixture of our fleet, we’re excited to offer more cost-effective and timely services to our clients. We hope this signals a step in the right direction to reduce our carbon footprint by eliminating the travel needed to pick up and drop off vehicles to and from other providers, and to generally deliver more self-reliant and fast operations.”

This update to how the company delivers its drain solutions is more than a simple upgrade—it's a transformation that enhances their ability to manage every aspect of wastewater treatment and drainage cleaning and maintenance internally. With this acquisition, Grey-Water Drainage Solutions reinforces its commitment to providing the best services tailored to their clients, ranging across broadband providers, national highways, local councils and more. In this they are able to respond to more calls in their service areas of Kent, Essex, East Sussex, and South-East London, solidifying their position as a leading force in the industry.
